Nice venue. Excellent staff. Really good food.
Check the times of classes going on.
There needs to be more recliners as two is just not enough.
Overall very enjoyable & good value. Only minor complaint was that the cor provided for our 7 month old was uncomfortable (very thin mattress) so he ended up in our bed.
I went for a Spa Pass worth £30 and have awarded it 3 stars.
This is very nice spa. It's small but very nicely done.
Grumbles: you must telephone to confirm booking and you must print out your confirmation to give them which it doesn't say anywhere so this was irritating on arrival.
Smiles: big hydrotherapy pool, not for swimming though. Lovely sauna, steam room, salt grotto, hot/cold drench showers, ice thingy, relaxation room. We had lunch in hotel bar which was very tasty but took aaaages. Overall very nice day and excellent value.
Very professional. Lovely setting and the hotel was lovely
Would not recommend this venue. Only gym working at living well hc.No one bothered to inform us pool and whirl pool out of action. The sauna was so dirty and smelt awful so we could not sit in there. The wall in one of the ladies shower had **** on it. Yes it was discussing and shocking. The restaurant staff were amazing but the gentleman on reception very rude when we complained and refused to let us speak to the manager. So our trip was spoilt from the moment we checked it. NOT a relaxing experience but a stressful nightmare which was booked for my daughters birthday. The next day we checked out ASAP after speaking to the manager of how we were treated.
We waited for quite a while to be seen to and no one seemed to know we were booked in... The staff seemed to think we hadn't booked? But rather than look into it just asked us '...do you have any proof?' There were also no robes so we had to wear our wet towels everywhere which was a shame. The facilities were good and I enjoyed my massage but again, at afternoon tea. We sat down and weren't seen to and when we asked - 'yeah but did you book?' Yes. 'You know the spa day is separate and you have to pay for afternoon tea' yes we did and we booked it. Rather than again, looking into it - the man seemed a little accusatory. Not happy with this. Shame about the staff and their organisation as the day was great other than this.
we booked the hotel because it said spa retreat and pamper however; the therapist was not available for the days we were in the hotel; so were not able to access any therapies or treatments. We let the hotel staff know this and were apologetic. They gave us a complimentary drink each. The staff were very helpful and engaging.
I went for a Therapeutic Package and have awarded it 4 stars.
Fantastic visit. Great staff and facilities.
