When we got to the spa it was lovely. We had been there only about 10 minutes and was told that the steam room was having to close for a little while to be fixed but ended up not being available again for another few hours. We went up to the treatment room where we were a bit lost as to where to go as there was no reception area to go to and no one around to ask. Once we found someone they were very helpful and we then had our treatments which were amazing. I then asked the beautician where to go for our Champagne Tea and was told that we should have booked a time to have it (which I had not been told) lucky we had been allocated a slot anyway. So we went into the dining area which none of the tables had been cleaned, there was no glasses available and cold coffee. We spoke to a mother and daughter who were sat there waiting and had been very unimpressed with the service they had received. We sat there for about 10 minutes until someone actually acknowledged us and then brought us over our food which was lovely. The rest of the day chilling in the pool, jacuzzi and sauna was very relaxing. The slippers provided were not great as many times me and my partner slipped and skidded on the floor. In my package it included a spa gift for me and my partner which I asked the beautician about and she said she was unsure and to ask reception downstairs, I then asked reception and was told that they should have given it to me upstairs in the treatment area, eventually after they had to go and look for this gift that I was given a candle (not really worth the bother) overall experience was ok not sure if I would go back again.

As a whole the experience was brilliant. Staff were friendly and polite, room was spotless with modern decor, and food at the hotel was outstanding, both in taste and presentation. No real complaints, other than there could have been more of a romantic ambience in the restaurant as it was Valentines day - perhaps some quiet background music, and I always say that it's the small things that demonstrate exceptional service, i.e a rose on the table to take as a souvenir. The only other minor negative was the size of the swimming pool. There were quite a few people using the facilities during our stay, therefore it was difficult to actually swim as the pool was rather small. Same goes for the jacuzzi. Other than that, no problems at all. Would definitely return.
Very nice facial but it's a shame that the facilities and refreshment room upstairs was not explained clearly on arrival. As a consequence we only had 20 minutes in the relaxation room.
Brilliant hotel, really enjoyed out stay. Top quality everything if ur thinking about going just do it! U won't regret it
