Spa staff were excellent and very welcoming. The building and grounds are beautiful and the ideal setting for a relaxing afternoon.

The conservatory area was lovely and relaxing however the majority of the other areas in the spa need updating. The treatment rooms were not clean, very cold and very basic. I received a massage and the bed was all worn away and when looking through the face rest the floor and the underneath of the bed was dirty and what looked like body hairs lying on the floor underneath the bed. The girl who did the treatment was lovely but had obviously had no training in giving massages. The main areas could do with refurbishment.

I feel disappointed this visit with the cleanliness of the changing areas and pool side. I’m not usually someone who complains but dirty floors and changing areas that have obviously not been cleaned for a long time is not acceptable. Also I don’t think it’s right that you don’t provide slippers (which you could charge for) to get from the spa to the dining area for lunch. Your staff are lovely and food is good and it’s all at a good price which makes it affordable to visit several times a year but I’m not sure we can book if your facilities aren’t cleaner. We wait to hear from you .

As it was our 1st time there I feel a short tour would have been beneficial show us where the gym was as well as where we needed to go for lunch.

The Spa facilities are fab! The staff are always so lovely....Fran is a great therapist, and I always have great treatments with her.
