My boyfriend and I stayed over a long weekend. A pretty cool set old set up of the hotel and the room, however I do need to point out a couple of things that weren't the best... The soundproofing was very close to none existent, so we could literally hear everyone, who had passed our room as well as people upstairs.. The bed was also very loud..
When asked a member of staff if there's shampoo or a body wash provided we got told that what's in the bathroom is multipurpose, however on the bottle it said "Hand wash" and it certainly didn't work as shampoo...
The spa facilities were pretty good, our therapist was very nice.
The food was very much average, especially my partners pie...
Breakfast was pretty good, no complaints there.
Overall, okay value for money but wouldn't stay again.

Changing rooms, showers & toilets need refurbished. Pool area is dark & dingy. Steam room & jucuzzi rubbish. Conservatory & spa area pleasant but room where treatments were had no ambience. The treatments themselves were quite good though. All the staff were lovely. The cutlery & teapot in restaurant could do with being replaced.
