On arrival everything was as expected, staff were friendly and I liked the relaxing atmosphere of the spa. I was not sure to expect with the bamboo massage and the therapist kindly offered to mixed it with a deep tissue massage. I was so pleased that this was offered as the pressure and work given for the deep tissue was brilliant. I think the bamboo's are ok if you want a softer massage, I would go back again for the full hour of deep tissue. I have regular massages and the therapist Natalie, was outstanding.

Visited on a two for one, first impressions were good, very clean and changing rooms well equipped with plenty of showers and lockers. Pool is a good size and pool area was very warm. Sauna and steam room bit small but as people moved quickly through these it wasn't a problem. Treatments we had were really good. Down sides- there is only about 12 loungers, and there was about 30 people in. The Jacuzzi seats about 6 at a push and with so many people in it was constantly in use or being circled. There are no food facilities, plenty of restaurants outside but who wants to go for a spa day and get dressed half way to go eat?! The tea and coffee facilities are a vending machine, and not a good one or particularly cheap. It was a good day overall but I had better expectations, too crowded and missing some basic comforts. O
Overall a great morning for a treat staff so friendly and make you feel welcome, we had booked separate times for our massages but we were given a dual room which was nice as we both experienced it at the same time so got to spend all the day together, however would say that the room was only meant for one and you could tell they had just squeezed an extra massage table in there! massages were great though even if a little short but was what it said 25min and then the scalp massage was lovely did prefer the touch facial that had last time though.
It was a good treatment, first time going to wax didnt know what to expect. Heard alot about how much it hurts etc but it was nothing like that thought there was excellent service provided.... Bannatyne Spa.. The place to go!

Salon is very clean and well decorated inside. The therapist was friendly and it was a very pleasant relaxed atmosphere right from when i walked in. I left with a great eyebrow shape!
