We were all a little disappointed after the mani/pedicures as everyone's nails had smudged. We thought that they would have dried by the time we left the spa. A few of us had to re do our nails ourselves. For the price of the package we paid it was a bit of a let down, and most of the party would have asked for a different treatment instead if we had known! But we did all really enjoy the other treatments and use of the spa.
Good massage as always. However be aware that this is a regular gym for a lot of people who are in the pool trying to exercise- if you want to just relax in the pool after a spa day you could be getting in the way of laps. Also in terms of couples spa days there are separate steam rooms and saunas for men and women- go to the other city centre branch if you want shared facilities.
I am addicted, I wish I could afford a massage every week. This is the second time I have visited and I am sure I will be back soon. Feels like I have opened the can of worms and created a need! Full body massage was ultimate pampering. Didn't realise it included feet though- sorry about my dry feet and unpainted toes!
The lava shells are a very relaxing and warming massage. It made a nice change from the deep tissue which I usually prefer. The spa generally has a good atmosphere to aid relaxation and the therapists was very professional, keeping me informed but not too much chat.
It was fantastic, I have to say, I really enjoyed it. Everything expected from a good spa was there, easy to find kind of location, nice and clean, good number of treatment rooms and staff available, and the staffs have all been very helpful in understanding what I was looking for, and suggested to me the most suitable type of massage and facial. A reasonable sized swimming pool, the thing I love is that the sauna and steam rooms were separated between men and women. The rooms for women was in the lady's changing room, I really like that. the only thing I would complain is that there is not restaurant or cafe inside, I have to go out to get lunch, then come back in. And it can take a bit long to book for the spa through the phone, the first time I called, it told me I had to wait for 20 mins before anyone can be available. Luckily when I called again later it was answered within a few mins, so that was OK. overall I enjoyed a lot.
