Woman was late to my appointment, treatment room is small and basic, walls looked dirty. She did a very quick and thorough job and it didn't hurt too much but didn't chat at all. Left a lot of bruising. £25 for a Hollywood wax is the cheapest in Oxford and it was quick.

The hair dresser was very attentive when it came to styling the hair, but I had to remind her that she was supposed to be cutting it! She didn't ask what I wanted in terms on the hair cut and ended up just trimming it. The salon wasn't very clean. I wouldn't go for a haircut here!

I am normally very happy with Treatwell and have used the service many times. However....
I booked this haircut today for my daughter in Oxford who was getting ready for a big event tonight. the booking online was for 17.30pm and it was accepted ( see below) but when she called to confirm the woman at the salon said she was closing at 17.30 and sounded quite irritated so my daughter rushed over to get there an hour earlier and had the appointment at 16.30. However she said the woman who cut her hair wasn't very friendly and did a very average job.
Just thought you ought to know and bookings should only be accepted if the salon is happy to receive customers at that time.

Probably my worst waxing experience.
Not clean, not professional, rude.
They arrived 45 mn late. I called 4 times. The salon was fully closed even though it was meant to open an hour later.
They barely apologised.
Place was not clean, floor was really gross.
Didn't feel comfortable or nice, they just sent me to the next door room while they were hoovering.
A lot of noise, not relaxing at all.
The lady came in with an assistant in order to try and catch up on time but the assistant clearly didn't know what she was doing, the lady kept correcting what she was doing. I asked 3 times if she could stop because I was not feeling comfortable with someone who seemed to be not a trained beautician trying out on me. She stopped but stayed there and look. It felt very awkward for me so I had to ask her to leave.
Over all, the lady knew what she was doing and it was ok. But the hygiene was a little worrying, I got burnt 3 times with the wax which was really painful.
I was afraid I wouldn't have time to have all the 3 treatments I paid for done as they arrived so late but I left earlier than planned as I paid for 70mn appointment but had 25 mn of treatments only.
It was rushed, so I had bits of wax everywhere, and I will have to take my tweezers as soon as I get home because she did the broad job but nothing is neat, she didn't even used the tweezers once.
I complained about the 45 mn late without calling and expected a proper apology or a refund ; I got a rude answer from the boss who couldn't care less, eating his chocolate bar and just refusing to talk to me, just saying it was my fault for booking late (= the day before) and just turning his back at me.
It got me more upset than relaxed, and I don't recommend it to anyone.

First haircut in Oxford, had no idea where to go, a friend recommended me this place and I went on a Monday without booking and they took me without problem in the following 10 minutes. The hairdresser was efficient and professional! I really recommend this place for everyone! the price is really affordable as well
