I purchased the £50 Elemis Couture Touch Spa Day package which included 3 hours use of the spa, a massage and a facial, which was really excellent value!
I'd never been to the York Hall Spa before, and on arrival it was a lovely surprise. The spa itself is small but has everything, the sauna was wonderful and the relaxation room was lovely to lie down in and get refreshments. The massage and facial were both absolutely wonderful and I was very looked after by Shannon and made to feel very pampered!
The only criticisms I would have of the spa is that it does have a slightly damp/stale smell in some of the rooms, and I was given a robe which smelt like it hadn't been washed so I had to go back to reception and ask for a new one. The spa is very relaxing and has everything you could want (apart from a swimming pool), I just felt the overall cleanliness and smell of the rooms could be improved on, but I would definitely go back.

There are plenty of spa facilities but it is poorly maintained. It looks dated and certain areas have an unhealthy smell. One of the steam rooms, the sauna, the plunge pool, the showers and the relaxation area are mainly clean though so it’s an overall pleasant experience. The waiting room outside the treatment areas is also dated and feels abandoned, the rooms themselves though are clean and tidy and the lady that did my treatments (Luna) had magic hands!

First time at this spa for a facial then thermal spa. Treatment room was nice and therapist was friendly, and enjoyed the facial. However the thermal spa smelt dump, floor wasn’t mopped regularly enough and overall it was very disappointing.
