Welcome to VA Bodywork!

Veronica is a Level 5 BTEC Sports Massage and Remedial Massage Therapist, who qualified at the North London School of Sports Massage (NLSSM), one of the leading providers of Sports Massage Training.

VA Bodywork specialises in sports massage and treatments tailored to the individual's needs. They can help to enhance sports performance, reduce muscle tensions and increase flexibility. Everyone can benefit from sports massages, not only athletes or "sports people". Many day-to-day issues, such as repetitive strain injuries, sprains, work-related tensions and fatigue, can be addressed and alleviated. As well as physical benefits, there are also physiological impacts like reducing stress and improving sleep.

About Me

My name is Veronica, and I've been a self-employed massage therapist for three and a half years. I was lucky to have had the opportunity to start my own business and see private clients from the start of my career. With time, I developed a deeper interest in the therapeutic role that massage can play in one's life, and I wanted to help people with injuries or more complex issues. This is why in 2022, I completed a BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Sports Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy. This qualification provided me with a higher level of knowledge and more advanced skills and techniques that enable me to better care for my clients.

I am passionate about manual therapy and dedicated to helping my clients feel better, move better and improve their health and well-being. I take a holistic approach, work with the person as a whole, and look at the bigger picture by considering all aspects of the individual and any external influences.

I am registered with the Sports Massage Association (SMA) and a Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) member. Joining professional associations demonstrate professionalism, educational standards and a commitment to continue learning by completing CPDs (Continued Professional Development) each year.
