The salon was easy to find and had excellent facilities, including laptops and a wide selection of magazines, snacks and beverages. The therapist selected two shades for my half head of highlights which were both flattering and in line with the overall effect I had asked for. I would definitely recommend this salon.
I was pleased with the end haircut but the experience overall would not have been worth full price. The venue itself was nice and they used my favourite products (Kerastase). They have a cool waiting area with ipads, where you can help yourself to refreshments but there weren't that many magazines. I had a free treatment with my voucher but they didn't talk through the different options or let me know which one I was getting. When the treatment was getting washed off they didn't use a towel and lots of the water dripped down my neck to my back. I was pleased with the final cut though which is the most important thing but I will not be returning there to pay full price as I don't think it is worth it.
Really friendly staff and I was really pleased with my highlights and cut. They listened to what I said and what I wanted and I left feeling I got what I was looking for.
I bought a voucher for a haircut and treatment with a free bottle of hair oil. The stylist was quite reluctant to give me the style that I wanted and it ended up being more of a trim than the haircut I wanted. At the end I had to ask for my hair oil, which turned out to be only 5ml. Is this a sample that they are giving out? I am very unhappy with the service provided and the lack of interest in seeing me return for another treatment. I am used to receiving substandard services from other deals but I expected more from Lisa Shepherd as this is supposed to be a reputable salon.
I went to Lisa Sheperd after buying Treatwell offer for a semi permanent colour and blowdry. As they pride themselves an award winning salon i had high expectations .Unfortunately all i can say is that my hair came worst that it was before the colour . ,i'm a brunette and my hair was quite healthy but after the treatment received my hair keeps on breaking,i even had trouble blowdrying myself. My brush got stuck ,that hasn't happened before.I have a feeling they gave me a permanent colour afeter i mentioned i only do semi-permanent . The blow dry i received tho must have been the worst blow dry someone ever gave me.It was done by the girl who was washing client's hair, didnt seem to have much experience, didn't apply any product on my hair before the blow dry and the pain i had to go through!!!!OMG she was really pulling my hair,i even received a few brushes in my head. I don't know why the service was so poor and amatorial, maybe cause i used a Treatwell offer?? the facilities were great!i must admit but overall i left the salon quite unhappy. My hair looked like a broom at the end!I asked if i could adjust my hair slightly as i was quite embarassed to leave the hair salon like that but was told i wasn't insured on their equipment and they didnt have anyone available to do it for me. Overall i would NOT reccomend this salon!!!!!I WONT BE GOING BACK!!
