The venue is dated and far from clean. We had to change rooms and the room given had dust on the ceiling which we ask to be cleaned and once that was done please change the sheets as the dust was above the bed that was not done. I took it upon myself to remove the sheets and what I found was truly disgusting. All the pillows protected were covered in big brown/yellow stains which I have photos as proof. The mattress and duvet were in a worse condition.
Had an amazing time. Room was lovely, food was divine and the outside area was great. Lovely full body massage too.
The only down side is the inside spa doesent really feel like a spa, just a swimming pool really
Therapist didn't really know what HE was doing? My friend whom I booked and paid for had a woman therapist and she was very good and proficient. The bloke I had didn;t seem to have any real idea of what he was doing. Unfortunately for him I know a fair bit about swedish and Thai massage and he just kept layering on oil and rubbing around in circles with no real idea of what sort of routine over the hour should be. I actually asked him if he did this often and he said 'every weekend'.
We came here last year and it was a fantastic experience but my god has this hotel gone down hill. I paid for a Elemis Collagen facial which was £90. When I got into the room there was absolutely no collagen items to use on my skin and it wasn't until I brought in the manager to complain did they go and retrieve the items so basically if I hadn't mentioned it they wouldn't have bothered! This is fraud and I feel they do this a lot! The room was disgusting with blood stains on the carpet too!
