Guildford Manor is like my home from home, wow what a lovely welcome we had and a beautiful time away. The food was exceptional as well as the service very similar to fine dining. Spa facilities it what I go for - amazing. The room #30 was just right and cosy for a couple with a view of the Hydrotherapy pool. Was asked if I wanted housekeeping everyday but didn't do that. Check out always makes me feel so sad when I am leaving. My treatment was calming and relaxing facial best ever from Nayra

The inside of the main pool is clearly staring to wear down.
The changing rooms are in need of renovation. A ceiling panel missing above my head in the shower.
Service was not good. we had asked for two bottles of prosecco and said (multiple times) that we were happy to pay for these, as it was a special day. These never arrived, so we chased. Eventually they come back and say "spoken to my manager - you paid £X amount of money and that doesn't include prosecco." This was a gift... word limit

I have been coming to this hotel for a few years and when it was first updated the whole place was terrific. However, the hotel looks amazing from the outside but a few years after the refurbishment I found that the cleaning could be better, especially around the window seals. There were bits on the stairs and some of parts of the hotel needed a few paint touch ups
On the plus side, the staff were very accommodating and friendly and we were able to use the facilities within the hotel early.

My facial with Vivian was lovely, really relaxing and the pressure good on neck and shoulder massage. She was very friendly and made it a good experience.
Hairdryers in changing room could do with an upgrade, took ages to dry my hair.
Area around the pool slippery, husband slipped over onto his bottom
