Lovely grounds. Beautiful plants and decor. Disappointingly the steam room was out of service and sauna was defective. Outdoors jacuzzi was lovely.
Our stay at Guildford Hall was great value for money. Food was very good as were facilities. Everything could be a bit cleaner and more staff available. We were in the spa all day and never saw any checks to temperatures, cleaning, chemicals etc. in fact in 3 days never saw anyone in the spa. By 3rd day was concerned. Overall very good for money, staff all friendly and helpful.
It was a great massage just the right pressure applied, the masseuse was very friendly and warming.
Great location. Room was nice and comfy. Staff were pleasant. Massage was good and staff were efficient. Food was food, breakfast options were sufficient and very good quality. It was a lovely day when we arrived, the pool was very busy outside, and seating/deck loungers were limited. Room wasn't ready on time, and to wait for 30 minutes for it to be ready - On departure day, we asked if we could use the facilities after check out time of 11am, answer was a straight no.
Had a lovely morning chatting with a friend. The venue was not great. dont like the shared changerooms. Changerooms are old and dingy. Floor was dirty in changing cubicle. someone has messed yellow liquid in the floor. When going in for treatment. The treatment room smelt like old wax. Equipment on counter looked broken and damaged. when asked to lay down on traetment bed the frame where you place your face was full of foundation and there was hair around the frame. I felt uncomfotable.
