The massage was great and the masseurs were greatly professional and clearly experienced.
Unfortunately they were 10 minutes late, which was not an issue....however as no one instructed us to the waiting area we were not sure that we were at the correct metring point.....we were they were delayed.
They then asked us to fill in forms which we could have already done had we known.
I did put on the form (as questioned) that it didn't like my feet touched but they didnt actually read the form .
I liked the atmosphere of the hotel, the plants and the beautiful grounds. Staff in the restaurant were friendly. Reception staff, however, varied in their helpfulness and politeness. The spa facilities were clean and okay. Sadly, wifi wasn't working, the indoor hot tub was out of order and our treatment times were changed to unmatched timing.
Spa treatment was lovely, as was the therapist. Spa area not great needs a bit of a spruce up as well as attention to detail, lots of plastic bottles / cups discarded and cigarette butt's outside. Indoor jacuzzi was half full and dirty, this was not mentioned at check in. Outdoor jacuzzi was lovely but maybe instructions on how to operate the jets would be useful.
I was treated to a massage, facial and afternoon tea. Vivian was my lovely therapist and would give her 11 out of 10! She was friendly, kind and professional and would highly recommend her. I didn't use a room, or choose to use the spa area - so cannot comment here. Tea and cakes in the restaurant great too; the funny restaurant manager even boxed the cakes up for me to take away, as I had to get back home. All of the staff I came into contact with were very pleasant.
