The staff here are very friendly and the deep-tissue massage itself was good, but the venue is more 'clinical' in appearance and facilities than a relaxing spa, so the overall experience wasn't as expected. There was no spa music in the room itself, so all I could hear during the massage was the washing machine spinning. Also I had a male masseur without being warned about this before I turned up. Although he was very professional, I was a bit uncomfortable throughout and would have preferred to be told about this when I booked. The room was very tiny and quite shabby (the bed was propped on blocks to raise it to the correct height). Instead of soft towels the bed was covered in tissue paper, so not as comfortable and 'spa-like' as I was expecting. If you are not fussed about the surroundings and overall spa experience and just want a nice massage, this venue seems fine for that.
Overall good value for money but they always try to upsell and at ridiculous prices. i would buy a package here but I still think it works out cheaper to just keep booking through Treatwell
