Really loved my haircut here. I think the price is reasonable given that my hair was long and some of the places would have charged me for the "long" cut, which is more expensive than the average.

I am reviewing based in my past two years experience at Chez Stephan which has been quite mixed. Generally I am impressed by the value but in a way, you get what you pay for. The colour of my balayage has always been just off the mark. I even paid for an ashy toner one time and it didn't make any difference so I did it myself at home with more success. I have never complained about the colour and I have been asked if I was happy so cannot blame them as they were doing what they could to make sure I was happy. I kept coming back due to the value, but now that they no longer offer the same deal, I won't return as I know that I can get better elsewhere for the price. Staff are always very friendly, including owner Stephan. The place is very clean though it's often empty hence giving a lower rating for ambiance.
