My hairdresser was a student which I was not told, plus was told I can only have one colour in my hair which I pay for balayage and all was put in my hair was “blue beach”. Then as was told everything is an extra cost. I would not go get there again.
I think it is very harsh on what you call shoulder length hair,I was even told the price would have been £30 pounds more which I was told on the phone pass the shoulder blade would be £15 more. The coulourist charged more. Then you have 3 types of balayage but really gave the just one option. No incouragement of hope more doubts this colour won't be suitable or possible. Overall with persistentence from my mum the colour came out so beautiful and not ginger as stated by the manager. Was able to colour my whiteish hairs but refuse because not part of the service agreement but it was just really a few shiny ones in the front side. Would preference to do a tacky job rather just slightly amend the rules for a perfect look don't make sense. The cut however was good but she went too short very disappointed with that. Made me look older than I looked. The manager did offer the glass of wine but didn't feel as though she wanted too plus she was pushing the memberships more than anything to join at a fee of course. Overall very pricey for the quality experience of the hairdresser in my opinion if your a coulourist you should know more about types of colours rather than guessing and making false opinions which came out wrong in the end. There wasn't much choice in colour and I'm not talking about greens, blues etc i mean blondes or reds there should at least be 3 or more choice of either red, blonds to choose from. I'm coming with an open mind for you to help me choose if I'm un sure rather you ask me if I think it will work you are meant to be experienced at your job. I feel she was just trying to cover themselves should the colour not come out, it's all about experience and timing it right. With the end result the colourist was so flabbergasted she took a picture of the colour tones in both me and my mums hair because apparently that was not meant to happen.
I really feel the colourist was pressured to act in this way because she was told to over charge even though we arranged everything by phone and rushed us to come in,also she seemed to open up a bit more when the manager stopped checking her and patrolling the floor. The colourist thanked both me and my mum for coming in otherwise it would have been a dead day at work. The manager was very cold and frosty towards us with her cold selling perhaps if she was able to sell us the yearly package deal which involved more wine tasting than hair deals she might have warmed to us. The downside on a hot day as it was there should be either fans or air conditioning in the premises on summer days like this. Plus also you will be under a heater for at least 20-30 mins like we were. I would not choose to experience this again I felt that we were not welcomed from the moment we arrived which was such a shame.
