A facial is a procedure involving generally the following treatments: steam, exfoliation, extraction, masks, oils, and massage and applications of creams. It is designed to deeply clean pores & remove the layer of dead skin cells, to improve the skin texture, to tighten & brighten making the skin to look firmer and to nourish the complexion. It helps to strengthen skin elasticity and improves blood and oxygen circulation which will thus help your skin from the inside out.
Depending on a person and what the skin needs, it is good to have a facial at least four times a year when the season changes. It is important not to overdo it and always mention to the therapist for example skin allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy.
Makeup should not be applied for up to 24 hours after the facial as some facial products may cause unwanted skin reactions.

A facial is basically a skin treatment for the face. It is a much more targeted and deeper cleansing of the skin usually performed by a professional therapist. People underestimate the need for regular facials, as there are many long term benefits. A regular facial slows down premature aging and strenghtens skin elasticity. additionally, it increases blood circulation, therefore bringing fresh oxygen and nutrients to the skin as well as removing toxins and waste. Consequently, it softens your skin texture and brightens and invigorates your skin.

Hi! There are many types of facials and all for different skin types! Your can have them purely for relaxation or for deep cleansing, exfoliating etc. Your therapist should adapt the treatment for your needs whether it be a longer exfoliation, more of a steam, leaving the mask on for a longer period of time and of course choosing different cleansers, toners & moisturisers for your skin. A general routine of a facial, is double cleanse, tone, exfoliate, steam, face, neck & shoulder massage (optional), mask, application of eye contour products & moisturise. Hope this helps :)
