Which is less painful? Strip wax or hot wax?

Is it true that strip waxing is less painful that hot wax? And is this preferable for a Brazilian Wax?

Hi, A lot of waxing is often down to the technique and experience of the therapist. Strip wax is fast and works very well on large areas like the legs. Hot wax is good for strong hair in sensitive areas, such as the bikini. The warmth of the wax also opens the pores, so in theory should make the treatment less painful. For an easy professional treatment, go to a therapist who has lots of experience in brazilian waxing, as it is a more advanced area to treat.

I find that hot wax is muchhhhh better than strip wax for Hollywood/Brazilian/bikini line. It is less painful and more effective. Best wax to use in that area is the chocolate wax! I would never change now I have tried it :)

Sugaring has the exact same results as the new craze Brazilian honey waxing. But sugaring originates in Egypt, this is where I trained.
Now you can remove all body & facial hair effectively & with minimal discomfort. Its 100% natural (its edible), gentle & lasts twice as long as waxing!!
Sugaring is a pure all-natural hair removal method. Its considered the oldest & still the best method for hair removal & effective for all hair textures. It is often compared to waxing because both are sticky but that’s where the comparison ends.
If you have sensitive skin then sugaring is the best choice. The sugar paste only adheres to your hair & pulls them out by the root without sticking to the skin causing no irritation .
It is a less painful, hypo-allergenic method of hair removal. Re-growth is slow so this method of hair removal can last up to 6 weeks, which is comparable to how long laser treatment lasts & so makes it a good hair removal alternative. It is safe for the entire body & face.
With regular treatments the hairs become sparse, softer & lighter in colour, therefore less noticeable between treatments. Frequent sugaring can also cause the hair follicle to shrink which permanently stops the growing hair.
Sugaring also works as a body exfoliant which greatly adds to the smooth, soft after affect clearly enjoyed by clients.
Experience has shown that the anticipation is often worse than the process itself.

Try sugaring it grips ONLY the hair, not your skin so it is less painfull .
It's water soluble so easily washes off, no sticky waxy residue left behind.
There are two methods; strip sugar for larger areas & hand sugar for hard to reach areas.

No the other way around. Hot wax is much more comfortable that strip wax on the bikini line.

in theory hot wax is more suitable for brazilian/bikini wax as the heat opens the hair follicle, alowing the hair to slide out, making the treatment less painfull. However hot wax is not as easily availble as it used to be and most salons use warm (strip) wax. most clients find this ok, if your worried try taking a pain killer about an hour before the treatment and go to therapist who has a lot of experience in brazillian waxing as not all courses include this in their training.
