Catering for both women-only and mixed groups, their retreats take place in beautiful countryside locations and offer luxurious accommodation. All retreat packages also include private transport from London. After serving 14 years as a Royal Marine Commando, Physical Training Instructor and Adventure Training Instructor, I established Commando Active with a view of delivering high quality personal and group physical training. My hard work and passion within this area has put me at the top of this field as I’m now one of the leading experts in expedition fitness and team preparation. I have considerable experience in delivering high level corporate health and team development packages drawn from many years operating and managing teams in harsh environments and climates all around the world. I’m also a regular contributor on all subjects related to health and fitness in many national publications, from The Daily Mail to Outdoor Fitness Magazine and I was fortunate enough to be the fitness expert for Zest magazine for several years. Over the years I have competed in a wide range of sports, from rugby to canoeing to ultra marathon to climbing and consider my mental strength and my constant all round physical fitness to be the major contributing factor that has enabled me to do all of these things with no or very little specific training. I work as a sports model with credits such as Adidas, Gillette and as a Men’s Running cover model. I also featured in the documentary “Commando: On The Front Line”, which followed Royal Marine recruits throughout their eight month long Commando training as well as “The 55 year old Commando”, which followed documentary maker, Chris Terrill’s journey towards earning his green beret.
