I think it very much depends on the beautician you get. Unfortunately i'm not sure mine had much waxing experience and as such i was not satisfied with the result, even having to come home and remove hairs myself.
It was very busy and they don't seem to take into account they have appointments booked when they accept walk-ins. I had my nails taken off sat on the waiting bench, the manicure in a pedicure massage chair (which are the most uncomfortable things!) before finally getting to sit at a proper nail bar to have them painted. I had my nails done here a few weeks ago and they were great, however this time they've ended up a bit patchy, just not a smooth flat finished effect. I just hope they last as long as previously.
I have been getting full sets (gel) done for years (not at this salon) and this is, by far, the worst I have ever had. When I arrived, the Receptionist didn't acknowledge I was there for about 2 minutes, even though she was right in front of me.
Once I was finally seated (15 minutes late), the manicurist didn't even say hello - just sat down and pulled my hand harshly towards her. Halfway through the treatment, I noticed she'd made my nails very thick and an odd shape. When I asked her if she could file them to a different shape, she said she had done nails for years and knows best. I was then given a choice of very few nail varnishes, as they mainly stock Shellac varnishes. Therefore, when I got home, I had to re-file the nails to the shape I wanted and re-paint them to a nicer colour.
The staff all shout at each other across the room and no one seems to acknowledge the paying customers in the room.
Would not recommend this treatment.
