I had a lovely day Thankyou.
Maybe I should have taken flip flops as slippers were not provided and there was a fair bit of walking to my first treatment room. Small towel which was a bit grey and scratchy but my robe was lovely and snuggly.
My treatments were lovely too as was my lunch in the hotel restaurant.
The gym has a good range of equipment but well dated and scruffy, (blue mats and abdom roll bars were filthy) and all packed into a dingy area too small for it, leaving no room for floor work.
Staff were lovely, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
My day was excellent value with a Living Social voucher, bought as a present. I'd definitely go again.
The spa area......., jacuzzi looked as though it had never been cleaned.
The floor definitely hadn’t and the staff were walking in and out with dirty trainers on then walking outside. (Over shoes are definitely required)
The spa really needs upgrading.
The room was really nice once we got the temperature right.
The decor was nice but does require a new tv’s. No curtains in the bathroom as people could see in.
In the morning the cleaners were heavy footed and woke us up.
The breakfast was superb and a lot to choose from.
I was really expecting a lot better from this hotel.
My visit seemed a little rushed to be honest. My husband and I had 2 X 25 minute massage sessions booked from 2pm - 3pm . We went in at 2pm and we were both done by 2:44pm. The treatment room I went in was situated in the actual hotel and had no where for me to change into my robe. The therapist turned to look out the window whilst I changed.
Lovely little spa with great facilities. Treatments had me totally relaxed and comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Dinner in restaurant was Devine. Will definitely recommend.
