Huge meal was perhaps not what was needed before a spa experience.
The swimming pool area; where the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi are also situated; was very badly ventilated so the air was saturated resulting in wet robes and towels after a very short time. Condensation was pooled on the deep window sills and dripping from the ceiling. This made the experience rather uncomfortable at times.
The actual treatments were very good with special consideration for individual requirements.
My daughter and I had a lovely day here, the facilities are a little run down but the staff made up for this as they were friendly and professional. We ordered our lunch when we arrived, including the time we wanted to eat, and it was served promptly and was delicious.
The staff and treatments were lovely but the spa was disappointing. The pool was cold, there weren't any loungers, and hardly enough seating. We were only given one towel and therefore we were wet and cold for most of the day.
Friendly staff and great massage. Getting from the spa to the restaurant without going outside (snow on the ground) was a bit of a treck with lots of stairs (limited mobility).
