The investment in the new facilities has paid off - the spa is really lovely, with a great thermal suite, comfortable treatment rooms and several relaxation areas. The treatments were very relaxing and we were pleased to find we were given the full 60 minutes treatment time without a lengthy consultation at the beginning or sales pitch at the end - this doesn't always happen from my experience. The only thing I would say is that each of the spa areas is quite small, e.g. the spa cafe was very busy at lunchtime - we had a late lunch otherwise we would have had to wait for a table; and each of the relaxation areas only seats 10-15 people (from memory). It was fine when we were there but if there were big groups or a lot of bookings, it could be crowded - perhaps they factor this in when they are taking bookings. In any case, we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend!
Didnt get a welcome or a goodbye. Cold place, temperature and staff ! Didnt use pool as too cold. Didnt have lunch as nothing left at 1.30pm! Only stayed 1.5 hours, poor in every sense of the word. Never again
A really lovely day and the staff were excellent. The sauna facilities were fantastic - just missing a Jacuzzi!
I would definitely go back and have already recommended to others.
