I had a swedish back massage. Julie did a great job, explaining everything and putting me at my ease. Julie applied just the right pressure. The treatment was so relaxing - thanks!

The spa was ok but I've been to much better ones and I won't be returning here.
Julie was lovely.
Afternoon tea was lovely.
There was a few incidents which happend on the day which made it a poor and unrelaxed experience.
Kids running around the relaxation room so wasn't relaxing, lack of cups for coffee and having to do other people's dishes to get a cup, eating afternoon tea out of a box.
Lack of communication and service.
Such a shame really because it could be a fantastic spa.

Noise from screaming kids in the pool. Children coming into the over 16's area and using the heated beds. Swimming guests using area for Spa Guests, using tea/coffee and not cleaning up after themselves. Relaxation room has no soft music and is shared with dining area and kitchen so not relaxing. Afternoon Tea not set up, handed in a box. Not enough chairs for our party at dining table. Not a relaxing day at all.

Not everything went right with our spa day. We were wanting a relaxing experience and I don’t feel we really got this. Normally on spa days the relaxation area is only for guests on spa days however here you share the facilities with guests staying in the cottages. This would normally be absolutely fine but not on this occasion for a number of reasons and not enough space to write them. There should be a relaxation room completely separate for spa day guests. Afternoon tea was delicious.
