Just one word" bliss ". Even the smell's in the spa make you want to relax. You must treat yourself and go even if it's a bit expensive.
This spa is a favourite of mine, I can thoroughly reccomend the wellbeing massage and have even had a massage by a male therapist here. The spa is very small but undersandable given its location, and the therapists and rooms are what you would expect for an elemis flagship.
I took advantage of the 2-for-1 'body sensation' deal through Wahanda so I could treat my mum for Mothers' Day. For £80 we each had a 25min facial and 30min hot stone massage- fantastic value, thanks Wahanda! The spa is small but in a cosy not claustaphobic way. When we arrived we were offered a drink, however when my mum asked for a smoothie they found they had none left- this was at 2pm. Instead we had delicious herbal tea. The treatments were lovely and my skin looked much better, the massage was fantastic. I had the Tri-enzyme facial and my mum had the collagen one for mature skin (she's 67yrs old).I have to say, her skin looked sensational- much fresher and it had a glow, the effects also lasted for a good couple of weeks or so she informs me! My therapist was very sweet and good at what she did. However, she was not as attentive as my mother's who added those little extra touches that take the experience to another level such as analyisis with the skin scanner thingy and three cute samples of recommended products. When I said I hadn't had any samples, all my therapist had brought down was the facial wash I was purchasing, mum's therapist went and got me a tri-enzyme sample kit! Mum's session also lasted 10mins longer than mine and whereas I was just given a glass of water at the end whilst still in the treatment room, Mum was offered another herbal tea/ juice etc. I was a tad miffed that the last 5-10mins of my session were taking up by the therapist trying to sell me Elemis products although she wasn't overly pushy. All-in-all I would definitely recommend Elemis DaySpa and I would certainly be happy to go back again. I shall keep my eye open for suitable Wahanda deals!
I had the cooling hot stones facial, which i found a bit phaffy, the treatment room was lovely, therapist was extremely knowledageble. I just find the spa a bit crampy and busy, albeit a lovely ambience.
I have been a regular at the Elemis spa in Lancashire court for a few years now. Despite the fact that it isnt the most chi chi in terms of decor and ambience I absolutely love it there and go back even though there is a new Elemis spa in the Inter Continental (which is very modern and chi chi but not got the same homey comforting feel of the Lancashire court spa). The treatments are unbelievable. I have the cellutox dry floatation body wrap and the tri enzyme skin resurfacing facials on a regular basis and whilst they are on the pricey side, having shelled out at other spa's for other treatments I can genuinely say they are great value for money. The tri enzyme facial has made such a difference to my skin it is unbelievable. They also run discount schemes and as I am a member of Quintessentially I get a 20% discount which is nice plus they have a loyalty card scheme. I have had several different therapists over the years and whilst I now have my favourite I can genuinely say they have all been fantastic. The other treatments I have had that I would recommend are the lime and ginger body scrub, any of the massages and their mani/pedis are flawless and last ages.
