A Rasul at the Elemis Spa must be one of the nicest things to do in the evening. It was quite busy but still we were made feel welcome and comfortable before being taken to the Rasul room. From there its pretty much do it yourself. The steam could have been hotter and the rainy shower was a bit too strong but we lathered up in Elemis products afterwards and felt like not showering for another day! My skin was supersoft and I love the smell of the products. Looking forward to next time.
This was good, but more amusing than anything. There was just about enough mud for the two of us, but it would have been nicer to have more, and although we were told what to do and the staff were lovely, some bits were left out so at the end we were stood there, still with some mud on us, not knowing what to do. I wouldn't have this treatment again but it was a good experience, and the overall spa is nice.
As we walked into the spa we were greeted straight away, and our coats were taken. We were led down to the treatment room which was decorated like a turkish baths and had lots of products for us to use. We did not have a therapist for the treatment, we were told which muds to put where and left to it. Once covered in mud we sat and relaxed in the steam. The only negative thing that I would say is that the 'tropical' rain coming from the ceiling to wash the mud off was freezing and a bit of a shock!! Apart from that I really liked the treatment and would definitely do it again.
Massage was great. The therapist asked about particular concerns beforehand, then explained how the treatment would proceed / what products would be used, and afterwards provided further feedback/recommendations for home use / future treatments.
I have been to the Elemis Day Spa many times and although I did enjoy it, I will not be going back. First of all it is very expensive, and now I have found Wahanda I will never pay full price for a treatment again! Secondly it is fine in the summer but I find the rooms too cold in the winter. There is no sauna to warm up in and I have had a couple of treatments there when I have been so cold I could not enjoy them.
