Very good deal with Wahanda, I really ejoyed it but would probably not pay full price for it as its a lot fo money. Was so nice not having to think about what to eat each day or go out and get food and also I lost weight and the food gave me so much energy!
I bought the 4-day detox diet mobdeal and suprisingly found it not too difficult. The meals consisted of cereals for breakfast, fruit, and chunky soup based meals of a decent size. It was all delivered on the first morning in a large box to my office. The hard thing for me was the lack of caffine, alcohol, bread and sweet things, but it was a good thing to do to break myself out of the habit of having chocolate after a meal, and to kickstart a more healthy diet ongoing. After the 4 days I felt more energetic and my skin had noticibly cleared from spots, this probably was helped by the fact I didn't go out drinking for a week!
The food was delicious and the meals were well-prepared, fresh, all organic and easy to prepare/heat-up. You can request to have certain foods excluded and the calorie intake adjusted. The staff was very helpful to work with you for your goals to either detox, lose weight and/or increase energy and I felt great right from the first day. I would recommend this to anyone. It's a great programme and it works.
When I ordered the 4 day detox diet, the telephone staff were delightful and the box was delivered on time. Everything was packed properly, and securely; keeping relevent foods properly chilled. I knew the diet would be vegan, which I was happy with but the taste of some of the food was poor. All portions were a reasonable size and I did loose 4 lbs in 4 days. Breakfasts and lunches were delicious and filling, it was the evening meal which were mostly soups that were the weak point. It may be that I dislike celeria and sour applies or green misto (particularly horrid), but even the one that I did like (carrot) was fairly insubstantial. I also thought that the the total of 7 portions of herbal tea for 4 days was a bit mean. It would have been helpful it there was suggestions of what to replace to some of the foods with if you found them not to your taste, or other suggestions (e.g. hot water and lemon to replace/supplement herbal teas). As it was, I did have to to run to the supermarket and buy some replacements for soup which I thought would fit with the diet (chickpea stew). So this was a bit inconvenient. Even with the large mobdeal discount bringing it to £51, this was an expensive experiment for what is really beans and vegetables. On the plus side, two weeks on and the 4lbs is still off and my cravings for sweet food and caffeine have significantly reduced
Detox box of food was delivered promptly to my home on Monday morning, containing all I needed for the 4 days. Great that I didn't have to go out and buy anything, or plan my meals. I think I must like a lot of salt in my food because whilst some of the lunches and dinners were delicious - mainly the salads - I did find some of the meals - soup / lentil stew / veg curry - very bland, but that is probably my taste buds. Lost the 4lbs that I had put on over the last few weeks, and skin feels good, so overall I was very pleased. I got the package at half price, but I don't think I would pay full "retail" price for it. (Unable to rate the venue because I didn't go there, so I put OK for them all.)
