Nice venue, shame the facial wasn't anything special! I enjoyed using the nice pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. There is also nice relaxation areas by the pool, in the beauty spa and upstairs with comfy sofas and a TV. The changing rooms are large and very clean. You have to pay £3 to hire a robe, slippers and towel. The facial itself was a dissapointment- the therapist came for me 5 minutes late, and the facial was supposed to last an hour, but she left the room for about 20 minutes of that. She finished the facial about 10 minutes early to 'give me time to dress', so the actual treatment time was only 45 mins, and she wasn't in the room for half of that! The treatment itself was okay and relaxing, but sub standard compared to other facials I've had. My skin didn't feel any better after, and I actually got a spot the day after the facial, and I never get spots! They also used bannatyne products, rather than Elemis or Decleor. I had to ask for the take home product included in my package, and instead of the promised Elemis face mask, I was given a bannatyne product. I would return to this health club for the facilities, but definatley would not choose to have a facial here again.
Lovely therapist, great treatment, would highly recommend - in fact I already have!
Massage was very good and the therapist was very pleasant. The massage was hard pressure and was a little sore at times, but I like it this way because I have tight muscles. Overall, the venue was clean and comfortable.
very nice and friendly staff,I really enjoyed my treatment. helpful staff. I would back again for more treatment. I would recommend to my friends. I feel so relax after treatment.
Bennatynes is a health club consisting of a gym, spa and a pool. I've been a member for six months now and I'm deeply disappointed. The only good thing about that place is its location and that's why I chose it. I expected it to be a high standard place as the price isn't the cheapest: almost 50 pounds for a monthly membership. Unfortunately it turned out to be a club where the staff are grumpy and in some cases won't even answer to your 'hi'. They are supposed to assist you and help you achieve your goals by setting appropriate exercise programme and they always seemed to want to just get it done and get rid of you. Facilities are not too bad although it takes them ages to fix broken equipment. Well I wouldn't recommend it to anyone as you'll be overcharged and made feel unwelcome.
