Cons:
- When I got there I found out the walk-in price in the salon is £5 cheaper than on treatwell which means I've been over-charged via treatwell, this was very disappointing and I won't be booking via treatwell again
- Loud dance music played, lots of chairs squeezed in and too many hair stylists cutting too many people's hair at the same time so there's not much space in the salon and it's not a relaxing atmosphere. At one point the stylist needed to move my chair while I was on it so he could get enough space to dry it with the hairdryer.
- Because it was so loud in the salon the hair dresser couldn't really hear my requirements clearly so my hair was cut shorter than I wanted
Pros: the stylist did spend the time cutting my hair carefully and making sure it was finished nicely (even though it was not quite what I wanted). He was also friendly and tried the best considering the noisy atmosphere and lack of space
I got a hollywood wax, and as soon as I walked into the room I noticed hair on the bed I was supposed to lay on for my waxing. Definitely noted that, and I believe the aesthetician should have double checked (or checked at all) to see that the room was properly cleaned from her previous session. The waxing itself was good- pretty painless, and you could tell that the aesthetician had a lot of experience and knew what she was doing. I was pretty happy with it, but when she was "done" she swiftly got up, said she was finished, and left the room abruptly. There was no clean up, or removal of any excess wax (which there was a lot of). From my experience, after any waxing I have been given lotion to remove the excess, had the aesthetician not just done it herself (most do.) I had to spend a few minutes in the room trying to remove the wax off of my legs before putting my pants back on. Kind of frustrating. There were also areas that could have used more waxing. I ended up buying wax strips and touching it up myself.
