Staff at the reception area rude and miserable not very helpful. Spa areas not very relaxing and cold. 2 out of the 3 rooms in the grotto were not working. Neither were the showers apart from one setting. On the plus side the massage was nice.
Enjoyed a really good relaxing weekend. Would of rated 5 stars but a group of lads in the swimming pool area were very boisterous just ruined that perfection. Otherwise the food, room, and overall experience was really good.
A lovely place with caring staff
Welcome drink was rushed, only juice and water available. Had to pay for tea which is usually included at other spa places. Treatments were good, but only last around 30 minutes rather than the stated 40 minutes. Couldn't have treatment at the same time as my husband. Bento box lunch was disappointing, wasn't worth the extra £10 each - food all cold and very basic. Only came with water, no other drink unless paid for. Had to go to the reception area just to pay for extra food via card as no portable card machine.
Lovely spa and good value for money. The thermal suite is modest but clean and adequate for the day. The massage was great albeit short. Wish it could have gone on forever.
