Not the best wax I've ever had unfortunately. I know it was a good deal, but I still don't expect to have to get out my tweezers and wax strips when I get home to finish off the job. I'm not just talking about the odd stray hair; there were entire patches of hair on my legs that the therapist had completely missed.
Afterwards I needed to use the ladies so I was pointed in the direction of the spa...the floor was very slippery but there was no sign warning me it had just been cleaned so I slipped and fell on a very hard floor.
I'd previously had a disappointing wax treatment here so this was a return visit to give a second chance. Needless to say, I won't be returning.
I went to Bethnal Green for a Spa Experience and was extremely disappointed.
There was:
-Smelly water everywhere constantly wading through stinking water (constantly someone there trying to move the stinking water around with a broom)
-No soap or shower gel in any of the shower dispensers -none of them had anything. Hard to believe. I had to go and ask a girl to come and fill them up.
-A dated interior throughout - nothing felt very clean
-Smelly beds in the relaxation room - like greasy hair
-The Plain steam room smelt terrible and the dirty water had started to seep in there
-The receptionist was quite cold and no information was volunteered-we had to ask her for everything - she didn't even tell us where to go or explain how everything worked.
-There was no pool or jacuzzi - hardly a 'Spa Experience' in my view
-The plunge pool looked disgusting and was completely unusable due to the fact it was, like most other things, surrounded by stinking water
Needless to say I won't be going back, and expected a full refund, which I didn't get. Wading through water that stinks of excrement is not my idea of a relaxing Sunday. My friend and I couldn't get out of there quick enough.
