Average overall - both treatments were 30 mins later than booked (the stroppy receptionist said Treatwell bookings are subject to change because they are cheaper). I wouldn't book the Crown to Soul massage again but have had better massages here in the past.
I visited the spa on a Friday evening with two friends. It took us ages to get in as there was a boxing event at York Hall. The changing rooms are quite small, and there was only one private changing cubicle. The relaxation beds had wet smelly towels which wasn’t nice to lie on. The sauna temperature was nice and the steam rooms were great. The only thing that was disappointing was that there was no pool except for the ice cold plunge pool. Overall, a good experience and will visit again.
Reasonably good but noisy and very busy at the start- not as relaxing as I’d hoped but it wouldn’t put me off going again. The massage itself was excellent.
All the staff is really rude and not nice or helpful at all. Cabins are super bright, with no dinners and since it is a basement they are not well ventilated and smells like drain.
I got a pregnancy massage and the therapist was not trained at all as she didn’t know which areas to treat or support, obviously they didn’t have enough pillow or cushions to treat a pregnant woman.
