So run down and looks dirty because of it. No jugs of water in spa etc which I have never known not to have in any other spa. No cups for water at all or tea and coffee machines anywhere, which again not had this issue before. Floor so slippery by the sauna as no rubber matting. Open door by ladies toilet just full of building rubble. Had 2 more days booked which I have now cancelled. We have never been to or on such a poor spa day. We had such high hopes for this country club.
Back, Neck & Shoulders Massage
We started of the day by having lunch in the restaurant. We were greeted with warmth by staff members who were attentive to our needs. Portions were large & very reasonably priced, would definitely return. We enjoyed the relaxation room and therapy rooms the most. My friend said Charlotte gave her the best massage ever! The pool facilities are a little tired, the roof in particular & Cleanliness definitely needs improving. (Showers and pool area.) Overall was great with friendly, welcoming staff
Swedish Massage
Facial was absolutely amazing and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The pool and spa area could do with a lot of improvements. The condensation was constantly dripping on us. It just all needs a refurb. Enjoyed the day overall.
Back, Neck & Shoulders Massage
The facilities at Skylark are extremely tired, my facial with Charlotte saved my experience. I would have been disappointed without it. I left with the overwhelming feeling that the venue needed an injection of cash, although it doesn’t take much to replace shower curtains in the ladies showers.
Sorry to say that I wouldn’t revisit or recommend.
Wishing the owners and staff every success for the future though!
Classic Facials
My daughter bought me a spa day here for my birthday and I had an anti aging facial with Charlotte. My skin felt great afterwards and the massage that went with facial was excellent. Very relaxing and enjoyable treatment.
