My therapist Amy was really nice and puts one at ease. The facilities at Skylark were great. I enjoyed sitting at the treatment room looking t the tropical fishes. The one thing I thought that didn’t give it full marks is because the signs of age can be seen in the bathrooms. The bathrooms and changing rooms were not connected which also meant a bit more hassle to get between the two.
We had a wonderful afternoon at Skylark from start to finish. Staff were friendly and efficient, the lunch was delicious (lots to choose from and very well-priced), and the massage treatment was incredible (thanks Amy!). The relaxation room was a nice place to chill out and while we didn't go in the pool, we enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and steam room. Would definitely return!
Whole package was great my only gripe is the pool roof was dripping condensation and also look as though it needs replacing or good clean some ares around pool looked tired.
Treatments and therapist were excellent and very relaxing treatments. Spa itself was pretty poor. Unclean overall, changing rooms were freezing and smelt very damp. Robes were damp when given to us. Hot tub was dirty and jets not working properly. So won’t rush back but treatments and lunch was very good
My experience with Amy was brilliant and the food was fantastic, unfortunately I wasn't able to use the Spa or Swimming pool as I have mobility problems with arthritis in my back and my knees, I couldn't get into the Spa as it was up a couple of wooden steps and then you had to climb up into to get in and the steps at the swimming pool were only three steps down, I couldn't physically get into either which was a great shame as I was really looking forward to relaxing, never mind,
