I wasn’t told I would have to pay more for something I had done otherwise I would not have gone with it. The lady who did my hair perhaps should’ve mentioned before instead of when I was ready to leave. That said she was treating several people simultaneously whilst behaving friendly and professionally. I actually wanted to give her a generous tip but when I was asked to pay more than (double) the original price I was put in an uncomfortable and embarrassing position and quite frankly felt like walking out. I had a good experience up until that point. Because I didn’t have enough money for extra I offered to pay half and the owner said if I paid that now and done a bank transfer when I do have the money, which I could not believe!
I couldn’t understand why this had only 3 star reviews because I thought wow I’m going to give it 5, now I know why.
I think the majority of the staff here are probably overworked and underpaid and what a shame I thought I’d come back but I won’t be after the situation I was put in.
I hope this doesn’t get their hardest worker in trouble although it probably will and I apologise for that and the fact that I did pay extra instead of being able to tip.
You should have clearer guidelines via the app as, some people don’t have the means to go for beauty treatments often so you can’t just assume customers know that they are paying more than agreed.
Lovely staff and relaxing treatment. It's a salon that has multiple services so while they tried their hardest to make the facial room as relaxing as possible, you could still hear the blast of hairdryers just outside the room.
