Fantastic mini spa break. Food fantastic, room excellent. Highly recommend
Staff very friendly and professional. Beautiful setting, swedish massage very good. Very relaxing experience. Highly recommended.
The staff were wonderfully friendly at the spa, and we all had a wonderful day. My only criticism would be that the indoor Jacuzzi was a bit too cold, and that the anti-gravity massage chair stopped working whilst I was on it (although this was quickly sorted by one of the lovely members of staff). The outdoor Jacuzzis were brilliant, and the afternoon tea was so generous that we left quite a bit. Unfortunately we booked relatively last minute by which time they were fully booked for treatments all day (apart from the one included in our vouchers) and I would have liked to have had at least another treatment whilst I was there - I will definitely book further in advance next time. In all, great value for money, and I would highly recommend.
Lovely staff and facilities - would recommend
Booked as a birthday treat for the wife and I, our 2nd visit to Rookery Manor. Spa is very nice on the whole although a couple of bits are starting to show their age (one of the 'zero gravity' massage chairs didn't work) and hot tub water needed changing in both of the tubs which were running! Staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout and included 2h massage/facial were excellent for both of us, included afternoon tea was also very nice. Dinner was lovely, again with pleasant, helpful staff, but it took about an hour to come - too long for two steaks. They also messed up the bill, fortunately we were honest and paid the difference! We were accommodated in one of the Annexes to the manor house which was fine, with loads of space, although the bedroom was rather warm due to hot weather, despite having the windows open (obviously no aircon but a cooling fan would be a good idea). On the whole I would say it was worth the £ and having visited several high-end Spas around the UK, I would use Rookery Manor again but a little more attention to detail is required in some areas.
