Another enjoyable trip to the Quad Club for a much needed Ache Escape massage and some time in the spa. Sabiha was lovely and did a great job, really helping my muscles after a tough few months. Always like the fact you can use the spa afterwards as well with a longer massage. Means you can have a few good hours to relax and makes it even better value for money. Would highly recommend - just wish I could make it down more often!
The treatment was fantastic, would definitely recommend and will definitely return at some stage.
However, the spa resembled that of a leisure centre, decent but considering the location and level of the hotel it is situated in, I would definitely expect something better. My recommendations:
Changing rooms
-please replace changing room shower curtains with frosted glass doors as they are partially see through at the top
Spa
1) Pool
-the pool should have frosted windows half way up so nobody can see in
-replace chairs with lounges or some kind of recliner on Jacuzzi side and maybe the seats on the opposite side
-move plants to either side of Quad logo and personal preference would be to jazz it up with a waterfall over the logo as the multi-coloured lights underneath would create a nice pattern and the logo would still be visible and would stand out even more
2) Jacuzzi
-Jacuzzi is stand out, very nice, could do with a metal bar around pool-side edge to stop people jumping from one to the other disturbing peace and potentially dangerous
3) Steam room
-Could do with some kind of fragrance I.e. menthol otherwise it is too basic
-some orange lights would be nice to create a transient atmosphere
-some music such as binaural beats or even forest sounds would make it a bit more ambient
Given a 4/5 as the massage was superb and the masseuse really lovely, the spa was the only thing that stopped it from being a 5.
Thank you very much!
