We thoughly enjoyed our time here. The whole experience was excellent and one I will be repeating real soon. I am taking another friend next time so as to spread the word. Thank you to all at Pasha!
What a gem this place is. Staff are so friendly without being over the top, it was set in a strangely wonderful tardis of a place, and the turkish bath itself was A-Mazing. My skin was glowing and smooth for days afterwards. Love this place - although selfishly hoping it'll stay a bit of a secret!!
I know Camberwell pretty well but had somehow managed to overlook this serene corner of an otherwise busy neighbourhood. The session started promptly on time with a glass of Turkish tea. We were led into a private changing room (decorated in attractive Eastern style) that led into the Turkish steam room. Our guide talked us through the process then left us to change. He returned - in a towel and with a partner in tow - after we'd spent 15 minutes steaming in the bath room. My friend and I got a member of staff each and for the next 40 minutes we were lathered, scraped, scrubbed, massaged (blissful) and finally doused with cold water. I felt sparkling clean by the end of it and relaxed enough to dissolve into a contented puddle. The treatment wrapped up with some more turkish tea. My only 'if only' would involve a space to relax after the session where we could enjoy the tea without feeling rushed, as it was we knew the next session was booked straight after ours and due to commence once we left. Aside from that the treatment ticked every box. I fully recommend it.
I went with a friend to the Hamam bath on a weekend evening. It was quite a distance from Elephant & Castle tube station if you go there on foot. I would recommend travelling if you are not familiar with the area. The service at the spa by the staff was good. Both the therapist were polite and friendly. They first started explaining to us what were expected for the bath. They also told us the history of the Hamam which we found interesting. The soap massage was relaxing and scrubbing was good to peel away the dead skin on my body. Overall i will recommend a visit to the spa.
It was a wonderful experience being our first time. The staff members were professional and very welcoming to us. I will tell a friend, it is an experience to remember and enjoy and I will definitely recommend it.
