It's so hard to find a reasonably priced, good quality hairdresser in central London, but Gusto offers exactly that. Luis did my hair and he was so attentive and offered great suggestions, and he styled and cut it perfectly! I felt like I got way more than I was expecting for just £20

This is a great value salon, well located. The staff are nice and my hairdresser made adjustments when asked although he didn't have suggestions. Only downsides are the instant coffee and the dull, vaguely irritating dance music. Overall, nothing special but got the job done to a high standard.

Welcoming and friendly staff but allowed me to read book and not feel pressured to chat! Asked exactly what I was looking for and was pleased with the results - I felt my highlights could have been a bit brighter but definitely good value. Really pleased I have found a salon that will allow later appointments.

I arrived early and was able to be seated immediately where the stylist offered me a drinks and some magazines. We discussed the plans for my hair (both colour and cut) and then she began the foils. The stylist wasn't a big talker, which was fine with me, but was friendly all the same.
Once the foils were completed I was offered another drink (I had declined the first) and I was given a diet coke. The stylist came back over shortly after (after checking the colour a few times) and said it was ready so we headed over to the sinks.
After having the colour washed out the stylist asked if I would like some toner as the colour hadn't come out very bright but this would cost me an extra £15. She showed me the colour and I agreed but I couldn't help thinking that this was perhaps because the colour hadn't been left on quite as long as normal - or perhaps because she hadn't put as many foils in as I usually have.
The stylist then mixed peroxide and toner and put this mixture all over my hair - essentially like a full head of dye. This felt like it was burning my scalp and also smelt really bad but was only left for around 6-7 minutes. Once that was washed out we went back to the chair and started the cut.
I had asked for a fringe and just a trim to neaten up the ends, and then she blowed dried my hair in waves. The colour came out really nice even though the process wasn't quite as I was used to, and the cut looked really good.
Overall I am very happy with my haircut although personally I am not sure I would return to the salon.
