This little Soho hair dresser is a dive but great value for money. Not sure what products they use but the staff were very friendly and cheerful. Not sure that I would go back even on a discount.
Stunned by the great value of this salon, especially considering it’s as central as you can get in London, two minutes’ walk from Piccadilly St and five from Oxford Street.
Obviously the service is what counts and it easily passed the test. Best cut I've had in years and the condition treatment left my hair feeling silky smooth – still feels great a week on. Absolute five star place.
I booked an appointment for a wash and blow dry at Gusto for 7pm. I was supposed to meet a friend at 8pm, so I thought this would give me sufficient time (the website outlined that the blowdry would take approx. 25 mins).
I waited until 7.40 until they eventually sat me down to wash my hair, by which time I was panicking slightly I would be late, so didn't enjoy the experience.
Despite being given a beer to tide me over, I was unimpressed by the fact that nobody had been allocated to do my hair and as such it wasn't the relaxing experience that it should have been!
Well located saloon in the middle of soho, staff was very friendly and welcoming. My hairstylist provided me an excellent service. She was spot on with the highlights, cut and blow-dry. I'm very happy with my result and strongly recommend Gusto.
