The place was right in SOHO so easy to get to. The stylist was good and did a good job with eh haircut. Overall happy with the cut. People were quite friendly and nice. However the place was a bit shabby and can be spruced up a bit
I've been to this venue before and was previously very happy with the experience. I booked with the same stylist Luiz again through this site, however, when I arrived I was given a different stylist. I was told I would be charges extra £10 for having two different colours of highlights, I was not charged this last time. I should have said something in hindsight but felt too embarrassed at the time. My appointment was the last of the day and I did feel like it was very rushed. My blowdry was done very very quickly. The highlights are OK but the whole experience was quite disappointing compared to last time.
I booked in and asked to be seen at a specific time as I was going out to dinner and I turned up and waited for 15 minutes and then they said they couldn't fit me in. I could have gone somewhere else in those 15 minutes!
Yes! Finally found a place that ticks all the right boxes. I live in the suburbs but work in central London, usually 11 hour days, so it’s been tough to find somewhere that’s highly professional, punctual and value for money.
I initially went for a blow dry and cut then booked for a colour the following week. My hair is so frizzy and thick, something that normally leads to added costs. No such problems at Gusto, they were happy to spend as much time as was needed and the end result was just perfect.
Considering I’ve spent three times as much for a half head of highlights (I had a full head at Gusto) I can’t recommend this artsy salon enough!
The salon is a cute little place, very welcoming and chick. the staff are very friendly and the guy that did my had was very professional and did its best according to my hair type. The result was exactly what i wanted and overall i am very pleased with my choice.
