So this salon offers really great prices, but they certainly don't go out of their way to make you feel super appreciated. I booked a specific stylist for a day that the online booking system said he was available for. Upon arrival I was told he doesn't work today so another stylist would be taking me on, to mine and his surprise. Supposedly the salon had confirmed the details of my booking with Treatwell so I was confused as to why I was able to schedule an appointment with a stylist who wasn't even working at all that day.
My stylist said about 10 words to me during my entire cut. He was very competent and seemed like he knew what he was doing, just no bedside manor. I don't know about you but when I'm sitting in a chair staring at a mirror for over 15 minutes I would like to have a little conversation. The hair from the previous client hadn't been swept up so I was sitting in his hair for about 10 minutes before someone came and took care of it.
I would go back again just for the amazing prices, but I had booked a cut, wash, and deep hair treatment, of which I did not receive the hair treatment. I'm fine with being passed off to another stylist however if you're going to do so at least inform the new stylist of what I had paid for.

Big Bouncy hair thanks to John. Cut is spot on, exactly what I wanted and hair looks and feels amazing. Great Job, will definitely be going back and asking for John:) Also the gentleman on reception was really friendly and attentive, knew my name straight away, asked if I wanted anything to drink... very nice man.

Due to my past experiences of getting my hair cut being awful I haven't had it cut in a year so was very wary about getting it done! John was very patient with me though and did it exactly how I wanted, he definitely knew what he was doing! Thanks so much I will definitely be back sooner than a year. Lucy Nast

Really enjoyed my experience at Gusto. I went in without really knowing what I wanted and came out with an amazing looking ombré and a really good cut! :) John was friendly, helpful and very skilled. Thumbs up from me!
