Really sorry to say it was definitely the worst haircut I ever had. My appointment was obviously taken when there wasn't really space. My hairdresser was busy with another person and didn't come and look at my hair and speak to me before it was washed. Really bad, as my hair is curly and so the consultation should be done whilst it is curly! Arrived 5:15 for a 1h appointment and was quickly sat to have my hair washed. Finished wash and the 15min conditioner treatment at 6pm....that tells you how slow the whole process was. Cut was done in only around 10-12min (I know this cos I sent texts before and after). Then left to sit with a wet head for at least 15min, with the door open. Finally, I got to leave at 7pm. So it took 1h45min for a 10minute haircut.
But I could probably forgive all the faffing if the haircut was great. But the worst bit was that the hair cut was actually wonky! I can only attribute this to the fact that at one point, when she checked for hair length- where they run their fingers down a section on both sides at the same time- she did it from the side. i.e. she wasn't infront or behind me! Surprise surprise, this meant that the longest section on the side furthest away from her was noticably about an inch longer once I got home. I thought that at first it was just the way it was blow dried, but after washing, it was still very obvious to me and other people. I had to get my sister in law to trim about 2-3cm off the longest section on one side and another chunk in the middle. There's also a funny long section at the back, but I don't know if that was intentional. She also didn't ask me about my parting, so the way my hair parts, all the layers are pretty wonky too. Looking back, I should have questioned this...but I'm obviously too timid!
On the plus side, they were friendly enough, and the blow dry from the other hairdresser was excellent.
Final note- this is not a discounted price you are getting- they charge the same price in the salon. Which is a good thing, as it is definitely not worth the advertised full price!
