This place is just the worst, most unprofessional and disorganised beauty salon I have ever been to. It was not a very hospitable, welcoming or calming environment to be in. I was seen 15 minutes late. The therapist was rude in her speach and no smile/welcome greetings - awful. The therapist kept walking off during my treatment to answer the phone, talking to other clients, attending to something in the other treatment room etc. The whole experience was very uncomfortable and I would never go again nor recommend to anyone! I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I went in very excited and enthusiastic, I left in a very bad mood.
I have been going to Claudia's Hair & Beauty for about 3 years now. The only reason I chose this place 3 years ago to begin with was the unbeatable price. As time went on, the prices started to go up reasonably, until it hit around the same price as most other decent salons. Now that the price is the same as anywhere else, I realised that I was not enjoying my waxing experience at all anymore. The staff is unfriendly, not well trained in terms of communicating with the customers. Often not even greeted, the staff often made me wait up to 20 minutes later than my appointment without apology or explanation. My waxer was once eating her lunch in the middle of the salon when she took a break from eating to complete my wax, which I found unsanitary and just unprofessional. The staff members are clearly trained in what they do (fine at waxing), but other than Claudia herself, have no clue how to maintain professional salon customer service I will never return to this salon, also due to its poor appearance and venue. Now that the price has gone up, I've found a more pleasant salon, where I am treated much better in a professional spa environment for the same price.
Tip for the staff: SMILE! You're running a beauty business not a funeral home!
