Walking into the salon you're blown away with how sleek it looks - the tea/coffee/drink machine are all a nice touch. However, my haircut wasn't all that I had hoped it would be. The stylist asked me what I wanted, I said I liked the cut I had, but would like suggestions. He however, gave me nothing! He just trimmed the cut I had - and trimmed it 0.5 inches shorter than what I asked for. This worked out ok but still. If I had paid full price for this I would have been disappointed, but with Treatwell it was OK!!
The salon is lovely & great location. Good idea for a little waiting room, but did not get to use it as my appt was on time. Fastest hair cut under Treatwell promo - under 1 hour to wash, cut and style. However, totally dissappointed with the hair cut think the stylist was a little lazy only did a bit of trim & tidy rather then a full proper cut & style.
Such a relaxing experience! This is the first time I've been to a hairdressers where the chairs when they wash your hair are those massage chairs - amazing. Also, i've had quite a bit of trouble recently with hairdressers not understandign what I want - but not here. my haircut was just what I'd asked for. Really pleased with the result - Thank you!
I am always hesitant with hairdressers, mostly because they always tend to point out the negatives about my hair, am not paying for a hair bashing! I am super pleased to say that the folk at Lisa Shepherd was lovely! Luke was my stylist and did a fantastic job at listening to what I wanted. Haircut was lovely, staff were friendly and all in all a really good experience :)
I booked my appointment a few months in advance as I am going to a posh wedding. I thought getting a professional hair cut in a Top London Salon would be a treat with a voucher as I could not normally afford the full price. The staff are lovely people that is probably why I did not complain at the time. The colourist described my hair as bland allover colour and said he would put in some contrast...it looks just like the same allover colour I went in with. I spoke to the stylist and was confident that he would style my hair to what would suit me and told him I would like to keep the length but happy for him to style it differently. I don't think he actually cut all my hair as I have still got uneven broken hair sticking out where it looks like it needs a good cut. He just trimmed off the end and gave me some sort of horrendous fringe that is neither full, side or blunt. After the blowdry my hair was still damp and I could not believe it when he went to get the mirror to show me the back and said it was finished. Needless to say first thing tomorrow I am going to my regular hairdresser to admit defeat and hope she can do something with it before the wedding. Very very disappointed but you get what you pay for and I won't be fooled again I just wonder what kind of haircuts the people who pay full price get. The best thing was the massage the young girl gave whilst shampooing. I am surprised Linda Shepherd has her name to this.
