When last did you get a burn!
Lisa Shepherd London took care to provide hot and cold drinks which was nice. The seating was comfortable and the ambiance was nice. Unfortunately though I was burnt not once, not twice but three times.
The first 2 times was with the blow-dryer and with a quick shifting of my head I was able to avert tragedy. The third time though was with the flat iron. The therapist rightly asked me to hold my ear away for the flat ironing of the section close to my ear and that went well. Then she asked me to release my ear. She then went on to do other sections of my hair. I then felt a searing heat on my left ear! She had caught a good 2-3cm segment of my ear in the flat iron. I needed cool water to ease the pain but it did continue to hurt. They then went on to quibble that a trim was not included in my voucher. I now have an ugly black scab on my ear making wearing earrings painful.
Ouch!
Those who dare to look are welcome to see the photo of my burn!
I had an good experience at the salon, I was offered drinks, water, there is laptops to surf while you are waiting. The chairs while hair is being washed are massaging, but mine did not work!. My stylist was nice, not to friendly ,
The hair cut was good but I was booked in for a cut, conditioning treatment and blow dry, not sure I got the conditioning treatment. The only downside was trying to get an appointment.
I came here for a haircut with Luke, who took a lot of time to find out what I was looking for and did an excellent job altogether. Besides, he was nice and easygoing, which made my early-morning appointment much more enjoyable. The salon itself offers great service with complimentary tea, coffee, and other drinks, and a designated waiting area with free internet.
my hairdresser was Lee and i was slightly anxious since another wahanda user had given him a pretty bad review. well, all i can say is that lee was highly professional, knew exactly what he was doing and was a pleasure talking to. he also listened very carefully to what i said i wanted, and my haircut is exactly what i wanted it to be. going to lisa shepherd's salon was a great experience. i highly recommend it.
Lisa Shepherd is great. I got a haircut sometime in May. The guy wasn't generally as friendly & chatty as most hairdressers are, which is still ok cos I hate it when they get too chatty & don't focus on the cut. But I did feel he was unusually non-smiley. However, didn't really care about it as the haircut was great!! I have wavy hair and it's a bit tricky how people decide to layer it, but the guy was brilliant. I just wish I could afford to go there again!! It's too expensive without a coupon. :-/ Would def recommend the place and the guy for a cut {unless u want to have a big laugh while getting a cut :) }
