I went to Lisa Sheperd after buying wahanda offer for a semi permanent colour and blowdry. As they pride themselves an award winning salon i had high expectations .Unfortunately all i can say is that my hair came worst that it was before the colour .
,i'm a brunette and my hair was quite healthy but after the treatment received my hair keeps on breaking,i even had trouble blowdrying myself. My brush got stuck ,that hasn't happened before.I have a feeling they gave me a permanent colour afeter i mentioned i only do semi-permanent .
The blow dry i received tho must have been the worst blow dry someone ever gave me.It was done by the girl who was washing client's hair, didnt seem to have much experience, didn't apply any product on my hair before the blow dry and the pain i had to go through!!!!OMG she was really pulling my hair,i even received a few brushes in my head.
I don't know why the service was so poor and amatorial, maybe cause i used a Wahanda offer??
the facilities were great!i must admit but overall i left the salon quite unhappy.
My hair looked like a broom at the end!I asked if i could adjust my hair slightly as i was quite embarassed to leave the hair salon like that but was told i wasn't insured on their equipment and they didnt have anyone available to do it for me.
Overall i would NOT reccomend this salon!!!!!I WONT BE GOING BACK!!
i went for a colour and a blow dry with an offer purchased on Wahanda. It started well, but ended badly.
I had my hair dyed by a stylist and then left in the care of an unexperienced girl who i asume is probably a nice person but OMG!!!the blow dry she gave me!!!!she didn't use any product before blow drying my hair to make it a bit softer and more manageable and she pulled it to the point i wanted to tell her to stop!
Honestly this must have been the worst blowdry ever!
i asked if i could blow dry it myself to give it some shape in the front (at least) but been told i'm not allowed as I'm not insured w their equipment.
Was it maybe because i had a Wahanda voucher???i felt like i wasn't treated like i should have.
The girl drying my hair was the girl who washes clients hair and i suppose dries it when u have a voucher.
Not what i expected ,will not return!!!!
I bought a Groupon offer and to be honest I was petrified after reading the reviews on how badly customers had been treated.
I had highlights and a haircut done by hairdresser Reena and she did a beautiful job. My husband said I looked like Gwyneth Paltrow when I got home. I will definitely go there again.
Haircut was fine - the hairdresser was nice. But there was an awful lot of waiting around. Not just for the Keratase treatment to do its work, but just because they seemed to have overooked. On being asked to assist with hair washing (which I had to wait for ages for) a girl pointed out that her shift was supposed to have finished 10 minutes before. It didn't seem very well organised. I sat around drinking their wine, getting rather tipsy as the night set in. Wasn't an ideal use of my evening, but the results were fine.
Luke gave me a lovely haircut and didn't cut too much off which was my main concern! Such a lovely salon with a fantastic waiting area. With the 50% off voucher my visit was fantastic value for money, I will definitely return!
