I have been to Mimi's a few times now for waxing. I booked a 4.30pm appointment on Sunday 28th. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment, however as there was only one person covering the Sunday shift and she had a person on the nail bar, one in the hair washing area and the 3rd on the eyebrow threading area my appointment was pushed back, therefore I rescheduled for the following day despite me having pre-booked.
Went in the following day, again there was one person covering, the beautician would leave the cubical door where I was having my waxing done slightly open to keep an ear out for other customers.
Unfortunately I will not be coming here again, the staff here are friendly and do a good job on the treatments, however it is seriously understaffed.

It's a shame that I had a bad experience with my wax because the lady was really nice. She used hot wax for parts of my wax but didn't wait for the wax to set before taking it off. The experience was painful and messy. Not sure if she'd used hot wax before but it's clear more training was needed. She was really good with the strip wax and was happy with the areas she covered.

Really clean salon, not much consultation (but it was only an eyebrow thread!). Very fast and polite service.
