I went during a weekday afternoon, so the whole place was empty. The facilities are nice, particularly given how inexpensive the treatments are. My therapist was very friendly and provided an excellent massage.
Very pleasant therapist and good atmosphere. Also longer working hours, which is great for after-work appointments. I didn't use the spa facilities, but it looks like quite a busy place in the evenings and many people using the pool.
Even at the discounted rate I would describe the whole experience as just "ok". I was booked in for a 50 minute massage and a 50 minute facial. The treatment was cut short (but didn't realise until I got dressed) and was only 1hr 30 - although it was 1hr 15 realistically by the time I had filled out the paperwork and gone into the treatment room. The reason I was given was because the manager had only booked the room out for 1hr 30. I did complain and was given a 20 minute voucher for next time. There are only 2 treatment rooms, the staff were ok, but I've been to budget beauty salons with better service and far better treatments - it is such a shame as I really wanted to enjoy the experience. I didn't get a chance to use the pool or spa facilities so I can't comment on them. I must admit I am not even inclined to go back to use the 20 minute voucher.
Really nice experience and good value for money, would have liked to have been provided with robes as this would have definitely added to the relaxed atmosphere but that's a minor point. Treatments were great, facilities modern and overall a pleasant experience.
