I was disgusted by the treatment i received at this salon. On arrival I immediately noticed how unclean the salon was, clutter and dirt everywhere. I was then just looked at by one member of staff and she said "what for?", when I told her my treatment she pointed at the chair and just said "sit", she had a face like thunder. Another lady working there was on the phone speaking loudly and shouted across "no you do feet I do hands" and then the other one rolled her eyes and said "come with me", she proceeded to leave me standing in the middle of the salon whilst she got water for my feet. The ladies then spoke in another language infront of me whilst I was sitting there and when what seemed to be the manager said "we have to speak english", the other lady told me about a party she had been too last night and how tired she was. This was evident from the way she did the treatment. I was such a bodge job, my nails barely filed, painful and rough cuticle work, not asked if I wanted nails trimmed, not enough work on hard skin and a bit of moisturiser slapped on at the end with no massage. Mean while the other lady was doing the same bodge job on my hands and calling people on the phone at the same time. When the gel / shellac was being applied it was so uneven, I had to ask for another coat but the lady said she can't do that, I had to persuade her or I would have had to leave with patchy nails. My thumb nail smudged as i was given one tiny light to set the shellac for both hands so the UV obviously hadn't reached my thumb and rather than doing it again, the lady tried to just paint over that part of my nail. I had to ask her to redo my thumb. There was so much going on, in no logical order at all, it was so so unrelaxing and when I said this nothing changed. As there were other people waiting for treatments and one member of staff did turn up, the ladies were clearly rushing my treatment. I was out of the salon an hour and 15 mins before my allotted time had ended. It was a really poor job, in an unclean salon and it didn't make me feel good atall.... I don't have much ££ I am a student and this was a birthday treat and I was left feeling so disappointed by this.
Previous appointments were overrunning and therefore my treatment was late starting. However, staff did explain the circumstance to me and kept me updated on how long it would take.
Very friendly and good value for money. I travel from the Waterloo area whenver I need to get my eyebrows or manicure done.
It was my first time ever getting a massage, so I was incredibly nervous. I asked some of my friends how the experience is like and they all told me to arrive a bit earlier than my appointment because many places go through health forms beforehand. None of that happened, instead I waited until the start of my appointment when the masseuse arrived into the shop. With a quick and cold hello, she guided me down a very narrow and dark path into a small room. The room temperature was warm, however the towel i was meant to put over my legs was damp and cold! When she finally came back she did not introduce herself or ask me any preferences or if any particular spot was bothering me. I felt so uncomfortable already, I couldnt wait to leave. As she began to massage me her hands were freezing cold (since she had just arrived from outside). She simply apologised for this and a few minutes later she actually switched off the heaters, meaning about 5 minutes since the start of the session, I was already freezing cold. There was no relaxing music being played either. Honestly, I feel like I am in no place to rate the quality of the massage since it was my first one ever, however she repeated about 4 different motions for the whole half hour. Once the massage was done, I was told my friends that I would receive a glass of water. That did not happen. Instead she simply just left the room with no words. After I left the room, the other lady working there greeted me good bye and told the masseuse to give me a loyalty card, which she annoyingly replied she didnt know where it was, when she found it she just handed it to me without putting any stamps on it or anything. Two days later, my back muscles still ache when touched. I think this experience has put me off from ever going to get a massage again anywhere!
Quick, efficient, friendly and exactly what I hoped for!
